20 Carnivore Diet Gifts
This is my first official Christmas as a carnivore. When my family and friend’s asked what I’d like for Christmas this year I laughed at all the carnivore related items that were on my list. This made me wonder how many of you would like to have a carnivore diet gift under the tree (or menorah) this year.
So I took my list and added some current favorites, that I already own, so you wouldn’t have to go searching for hours!
Make sure to check out my Carnivore Stuffing Recipe while you’re here!
How do I start the Carnivore Diet?
You can join my FREE 5 Day Carnivore Challenge! I have a new one starting on December 16th! You get a ton of information, questions answered, shopping lists, dining out guide AND you get to be part of my support group on Facebook. Don’t wait until January 1st!
What’s your experience of the Carnivore Diet?
I started back in January of 2019 with Dr. Shawn Baker’s World Carnivore Month. And the 2020 event will be starting January 1st. I will be hosting a “meat” up in the Phoenix area to kick things off. Make sure you’re following my Instagram profile and/or my Facebook Page for more information.
How is a carnivore diet different from a keto diet?
The carnivore diet is a completely meat / animal produced (not honey) way of eating. There are no vegetables or fruits like the Keto diet. That is a very simplified answer, but it is really that simple. There are no net carbs either, because most days you’ll eat zero carbs. There are a few meats that contain carbs like liver and scallops but that’s about it.
How sustainable is the carnivore diet?
I have found being carnivore VERY sustainable. I feel even better than I did on Keto and I just continue to get stronger. The cravings for other foods takes a bit of time to get past, mainly mentally, but it does past. You’ll honestly think about food a lot less.
20 Christmas Gifts for Carnivores!
I know, it seems crazy, but I swear I use more toothpicks as a meat eater than I ever have before. Consider this reusable Titanium Toothpick with Protective Holder. It attaches to a key ring so it is always available. Just clean after each use and you’re have a forever toothpick! Great stocking stuffer.
Good salt can make or break your carnivore lifestyle and I have 2 that I use regularly. First Redmond Real Salt – this is NOT your average salt folks. The next one my friend Laura got me started on – a thick BBQ salt that melts on steaks. You really need both in my opinion.
- A Bluetooth Meat Thermometer
I personally added this to my Christmas list this year. I grill and smoke nearly everyday and this beauty makes it so I don’t have to check the outdoor thermometer constantly. Any meat thermometer would be great to have but really, get your favorite carnivore a Bluetooth Meat Thermometer!
- Carnivore T-Shirts
I love wearing my meat loving tees! I actually designed a few shirts myself: Vicarious Vegetarian and Cows: Turning Plants into Burgers Since Forever! I also get a lot of compliments on my World’s Worst Vegan Shirt from Amazon. If you’re going to wear the shirts, you might as well have some steak socks to go with it!
- Good Knives
Being that I eat a lot of steak a good steak knife is basically an essential. This Steak Knife Set is very reasonable and has stayed sharp. But what I really want this year is a knife for butchering. This Mac Knife is perfect for making a ribeye roast into steaks, especially when they go on sale.
- 2020 Calendar
Steak Lovers Mini Calendar or how about 12 months of delicious bacon with this 2020 Bacon Wall Calendar?
- The Carnivore Diet Book
This is a fantastic informational book on the ins and outs of the carnivore diet without being difficult to understand. The Carnivore Diet written by Dr. Baker!
- Lies My Doctor Told Me
Not a strictly carnivore book, but Dr. Berry is a carnivore. This book goes over lots of the lies we’ve been told from cholesterol to salt intake. Absolutely and essential for understanding how this carnivore way of eating will work. Lies My Doctor Told Me by Dr. Ken Berry.
- Carnivore Cookbook
Maria and Craig Emmerich have put together an amazing cookbook with tons of information too. The Carnivore Cookbook makes sure you never say I’m bored!
- Meat Slicer
When a good knife just can’t get that meat thin enough… Yes I have an Electric Meat Slicer on my list to Santa. The number one reason I want this is to make wafer thin slices of steak for homemade jerky.
Speaking of homemade jerky… How about a easy to use home dehydrator for a Carnivore Diet Gift? I’ve had my Nesco for years but I’d like to upgrade to an Excalibur Dehydrator.
- Wooden Cutting Boards
I’d personally love to have this Extra Large Bamboo Cutting Board for slicing up a smoked brisket or roast. Or this smaller Round Cutting Board for steaks…or as a plate (whatever).
- Meat Shredding Claws
I just got a pair of these Shredder Claws and they are fantastic for shredding up BBQ like pork butt.
- Grilling Gloves
These Heat Resistant Gloves make is so much easier to deal with hot off the grill meats!
- Grilling Accessories Kit
Keeping with the grill theme, a nice Griller’s Set in a case is an excellent choice among the carnivore diet gifts. This one is less than $30 too!
- Meat Grinder
If your carnivore friend is all about that nose-to-tail they make like a grinder to add some organ meats into their ground beef. I just recently got a Kitchaid Grinder Attachment for that purpose but there are Stand Alone Grinders available too.
- Sous Vide Cooker
I’m new to the Sous Vide cooking but everyone that is using this tool loves it! Check out this Sous Vide Cooker Immersion Pod.
- Meat Lovers Prints
These 6 8×10 prints are both decorative and informative! Butcher Guide Poster Prints
- Cast Iron Skillet
Nothing offers your steak a good sear like a Lodge Cast Iron Skillet. This is what I use for a reverse sear on my steaks. See the video below from my friend Laura about cooking a steak in a cast iron skillet.
Now my last gift idea is the Cadillac of carnivore gifts. I recently got a Traeger Smoker and it has taken my gas grill’s place very quickly. I love the flavor that smoking gives beef and lately I’m doing a lot of wings!
I hope this list of Gifts for Your Favorite Carnivore (or you) helps this holiday season!
