Keto Carnivore Chicken Liver and Bacon Pate

  • 1 lbs chicken livers (cleaned)
  • 10 oz sugar free bacon
  • Pinch Redmond Sea Salt (or other sea salt)
  • 1/3 cup Bacon Grease Or pork lard / beef tallow


  • Cook your bacon until done, but not overly crisp or it won’t be smooth. Except the 2 pieces you crisp and crumble on top.
  • You’ll want to save all your bacon grease in a separate container for later use in this recipe.
  • Leave just a little of the grease in the a pan for cooking the livers.
  • Now add your cleaned livers to the pan and saute until they are completely cooked.
  • Once the livers are done, remove them from the pan and allow them to cool.
  • Once the livers have cooled add them to your food processor with the bacon (except 2 pieces), salt and 1/3 cup of grease.
  • Process until the mixture is completely smooth.
  • Put your pate in a serving dish and top with the crumbled bacon.
  • Serve with pork rinds or whisps for Carnivore or veggies for your Keto friends.
  • You can refrigerate for later use but it is best served a room temperature.
